When you ask a florist "How much do you charge?" the answer isn't a cut-and-paste answer.  Unlike photographers, cake artists, venues, and caterers, our time and product does not have a set price.

Here's why:

An Elevated Country Wedding

BarnWedding

I grew up listening to country music, driving down backroads, and wearing boots everyday to school. Heck. My NAME is SHANIA!  Look up Shania Twain if you aren't a country fan. She'll make you a country fan!  When people think of "country" weddings, they think of rustic barn weddings in the middle of nowhere.  Well, we have a beautiful modern barn right outside of Idaho Falls that makes the perfect location!  If I could redo my wedding, I would probably go here!  I'm so grateful Tiffany and Jake gave me the chance to design for their beautiful theme!

Hey it's me!  Your friendly neighborhood florist!  One of my favorite parts about my job (besides playing with flowers) is getting to know YOU!  In a world where DM's and emails make up the majority of communication in the wedding industry, I think it's best to get back to the "good 'ol days" of wedding planning when Face-to-Face relationships helped make or break a booking.  The best way to do this is through consultations.

Budgets and the Bees

It might make your grandma gasp, but I'm here to give you THE TALK.  The budgets and bees talk.
I know.  I'm bringing up the dirtiest word in the wedding industry...BUDGETS.  You'd probably rather talk about your honeymoon plans with your family...(cue sexy saxophone music).

As your florist, I've had this conversation with brides over and over.  It's ok to blush a little when you hear the b-word.  Grab a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, wine...whatever it takes.  Because you and I are going to have a little discussion about this taboo topic.

If you're a wedding pro or a bride to be, you've probably wondered how to stay current on wedding trends.  Some quickly phase out, but other trends stick around for years.  How can a bride make sure her style is "timeless" while still being "trendy"?  Here are my predictions for 2019!

Why You should Collaborate if You're a Wedding Pro

Community over competition.  I'm sure you've heard that a million times, if you're in the wedding industry.  How exactly can you build you're wedding pro "community?"  And why does it even matter?

When I was a budding florist, my portfolio consisted of Iphone pics taken by my hubby.  I was the model, but the pictures only showed me holding the bouquet from the neck down, standing in front of a brown wall.  I would add a filter and call it good.
